The development and manufacture of top quality screwdrivers are our specialty. For more than 50 years we have been manufacturing high-quality screwdrivers for any application. We use the latest moulding processes as well as specially selected materials and well-proven tempering processes. We only use high-alloy round, square and hexagonal bars of special steels.
WURO bits and tools are manufactured in our Freudenberg works, from the blade to packaging. We have the know-how and apply the latest techniques to ensure that your wishes regarding special dimensions or your own specifications are met. Development and production are controlled and supervised by an excellent quality management system. Our top quality products guarantee precise and safe working.

Finished products are stamped in accordance with your specification. All products are available in sets of sizes to your choice.
Examples of plastic materials at a glance:
Cellulose acetate (CA) is a high impact resistant plastic material produced from renewable resources. It features high resistance to aggressive chemical substances and high mechanical durability. The temperature range in which it may be used is between -30º and +80ºC. Cellulose acetate is available in transparent and muted colours.
Polypropylene (PP) is available in all muted colours shown in the PANTONE catalogue. Compared with CA, the material is offered at an affordable price and has a 25% lower relative density. Polypropylene is fully recyclable and nevertheless is resistant to oil and petrol.
Polyamide (PA) is a material which, as a result of being reinforced by 30% glass fibre content, gives a very tough, impact-proof connection between the handle and the blade. PP-antistatic is a modified polypropylene material which has been developed specifically for work on electronic components and circuits. It allows derivation of an electrostatic charge and thus offers safety for the devices.
Thermoplastic elastomer (TPE)is a special soft granulate used in our multi-component tools. It improves grip properties, thus enhancing gripping comfort.
All plastic products can be provided with your marking, EAN code, company logo or advertising slogan by applying coloured pad printing or the hot printing method. Colouring of the plastic materials is made as shown in the PANTONE catalogue, which allows a choice from a large range of colours. Please select your individual colour range!
Especially in the manufacture of insulated safety bits and tools nothing must be left to chance. Quality and safety are top priorities in the manufacture of bits and tools and they can be provided with your marking. All VDE screwdriver bits and tools are subject to individual testing in a 10,000 Volt water bath and are checked for their insulation properties. Our VDE screwdrivers are submitted to the most stringent checking and therefore justifiably bear all current safety marks.
The benefits of our VDE screwdrivers tell their own tale:
- Certified manufacture in accordance with IEC 60900:2004, therefore permitted for work up to 1,500 Volt direct current (DC) and 1,000 Volt alternative current (AC)
- Testing of each single screwdriver using special testing equipment at 10,000 Volt!
- Separate insert-moulding of the blade guarantees maximum safety
- All blades are made from high-alloy, continuously hardened special steels (e.g. molybdenum vanadium steel). The hardness and torque values provided for by DIN/ ISO are clearly outperformed!
- Burnished screwdriver points ensure optimum corrosion protection and precise fitting in the screw
- 100% protection against skewing in the handle is ensured by broad wings and an injection moulded blade
- Maximum precision of the working head is ensured by the use of advanced production methods and quality controls in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001.
